The PlayStation Store on the PS3 has went through several tweaks and looks, but this upcoming look is probably going to be it’s biggest yet. There was once a time when the PlayStation Store once operated in the PS3′s browser before Sony eventually programmed it into the actual system software itself and it’s stayed essentially the same. Small changes have come and gone but now it’s getting a nice, Google Play-ish (to me at least) sleek-yet-basic overhaul.
Launching on October 23rd in the US (and EU the same day, I’m assuming) the new PlayStation Store drops the icons for what SCEI claims to be faster, having a revamped search engine and more. Sony even has the font used within the new PlayStation Store copyrighted as well, of all things.
