The Share button is one of the PS4’s more popular functions with images and videos. Screens and sharing them with friends are popular across all platforms. With improvements in the works with future firmware, sharing your accomplishments will be even better.

Wimpy wimpy wimpy…

One glaring flaw, however, is the fact that Facebook and Twitter both compress these images. They are compressed and made shoddy in the process. You can easily bypass this problem until more uploading options are (hopefully) added down the road, such as flickr.

If you have a smartphone or tablet, you likely have the PlayStation App (iOS Link  ///  Android Linkon those devices. With it, you can keep tabs on your friends, and better yet, view the screenshots you’ve sent to them via in-app messaging. This is where the tricks come in, allowing you to bypass Facebook’s 960×540 resolution and get the glorious 1920×1080 resolution.

Save the images from the app, directly to your device and upload them to whatever service you wish. That’s all there is to it.
